My uncle used to pour gasoline into the holes and set them on fire. (its dangerous but it works) Alternatively you could use water to flood them out. Then fill in all their holes.

Castor oil. Do a Google on castor oil moles, and it should come up with plenty. I learned this because we get moles, and I went to the store looking for a safe natural repellent. I read the contents on several containers and they all had castor oil. I asked the person working there and he told me that for about 1/100th of the price of the premixed, I can make my own. All you need is a bottle of castor oil and a sprayer (one of those mixing types that connect to a garden hose). It takes a daily dose for a week or so, but it works. Which reminds me, I need to run out back for a bit!

There are actually poison pellets that you can stick down into the mole tunnels. The moles will come along and eat them, and then the only problem you'll have is how to clean up all the dead moles.

I've heard moth-balls work also...

what you do is you put tape around the end of a hose so that it fits tightly in your car muffler. then you take the other end and put it in one of there holes turn your car on and leave it run for about 2 hours and it should do the trick. PS keep your dog away from the holes for a while can be dangerous.

I find the best thing to do about moles is to trap them then after you get rid of them you can use products to keep them from coming back! find out how to trap and control moles at http://www.molecontrol.org
