  • it depends on how mature they were and if you trusted them. id say they would have to be in their teens though. its not safe anywhere today so thats why i say i would wait until they were in their teens

For reference, most states that do have minimums, range from age 8 to 11. (This surprised me, as I thought it would be much older. As a parent, even if the state allowed my 8 year old to stay home alone, I would make the decision based on their individual readiness and maturity.) BEST TO YOU!
