Like the quote from the movie Gotti, I'm so tight with money that I pinch a quarter & the eagle screams. I walk to the store if it's less than a mile away at times so I can get some exercise & spare gas in my car if it's to get a little thing I can easily carry.

Yes i save all year every year for christmas, or anything else we need.

I allocate specific amounts of money for saving and for spending. I'm very good at budgeting categories. It's a mathematical mind thing.

I keep three lists ... 1 Must Have 2 Should Have 3 Could Have ... and I SPEND my money in that order ... I am not much of a savings person. "What would you do for a buck ... then what would you do with it ...?" I feel it is better to keep money circulating ... as soon as you SAVE a dollar, it looses value ... I do make a few investments, but at 24% to 36% ... not the low crap the banks pay.

I have always been responsible with money..I have never had a bounced check or a late payment or a creditor coming after me. So I'm good at meeting my obligations..I don't take on more than I can handle..in this day and age saving money is a pipe dream..money has never burned a hole in my pocket. :)

I'm extremely responsible at paying my bills, but I'm afraid I've had such hills and valleys in my income history that as soon as I've started making some money, there are so many things to catch up on that I couldnt buy during the valleys, that I haven't saved as I should. The old adage, "pay yourself first" is surely a good one.

I save, I spend on what I need... and a few wants..
-
I'm getting better...I am repairing my credit debt and saving more than spending

I think I am good at saving money because despite my low salary, I can afford to take a foreign trip at least once a year, enroll in graduate school, pay up all my bills and remain debt-free. Yes, I think it is important to save because we're not sure what would happen tomorrow. As the song goes... "you better save it for a rainy day." ...

Yes. My main job pays once a month, end of the month and I have an automatic withdrawal set up on it to divert money to my savings to cut myself off from the temptation to not make the withdrawal.

I am good at saving money. Because of unexpected personal circumstances I took an early retirement from employment. The money that I had saved helped pay my bills.
