According to the US FDA website... http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~comm/lacf-phs.html Lemons are between 2.0 - 2.6 Limes are between 2.0 - 2.35 Thus they can both be as acidic as each other, but a lemon may be less acidic, the range is due to seasonal and regional location variation.
