5 people think you're great, 1 doesn't. Is it human nature to focus on that 1 in our mind instead of the 5? Why?

It's that little imp who down rates me for no good reason. I do focus more heavily on that 1 person because I seriously want to know what kind of issues they have with me so we can try to find an accord. In the workplace there always seems to be that one person that just seems to have a grudge against you for no good reason. It's like a personality clash which can boil over into straight out conflict. In my case, it usually resolves itself and we part amicably in the end.

If that's human nature then it isn't working on me. Why should I care that someone doesn't think I'm great? SO what? I guess that's their problem. If I let it bother me, I am letting that one person have the power to control my feelings. I don't give them that power. I don't care. I wouldn't think about it at all.

I don't think it's human nature at all but our own personal issues. Unless the one is someone I want to impress I could careless.

There will come a time in your life when you won't care what other people think of you. You'll be happy with yourself no matter what other people say or think.

I think that the one person gives me an opportunity to improve my self. To err is human. But if some one is not there to point it out, I may not be able to find where I have erred. That one person is my well wisher in disguise.
