Yep. I'm pretty sure this is what happened to an expensive 35 mm Konica single-lens reflex camera and bag and accessories that disappeared during an interstate move.

Not my car, but I did once leave something on the top of my friends car. It was a metal cigarette case that I used to hold my ID and money...and it not only had my ID but over $300...and somehow I managed to find it all! Lucky me!

yes, and that's why I currently am with out a home phone. I was outside cleaning out our car and left the home phone on the hood of the car. I didn't realize it until I got home and needed to check for messages. UGH!!!! Thank goodness for cell phones!

my music notebook with all my lyrics, journal entries etc. from a tour/trip south. We were coming back up north and had left a hotel in West Virginia and drove about 10 miles when a car started honking and waving at us. It was still up there! Couldn't believe it!

Yeah. Most notably my baby's tippy cup. Thank goodness for the luggage rack. A few miles from my house a strange alerted me with the universal sign for 'tippy cup'. That could have been an ugly day out without that thing.

Yes I left a folder with my resumes inside on top of my car. I was driving down the interstate and I looked in the rear view mirror and my folder was plastered on the front grill of a truck driving behind me.

Twice I've left my purse up there and driven off. Once it stayed up there nicely. The other time I turned around later and found it all driven over, contents smashed by other cars on a busy highway:-) That was the last time I ever did that lol!

Yes, I have. It was my first Easter dinner with my husbands family. I had made a cake that I worked on for hours. Hubby had talked up this cake for days to his family. I must have set it on the roof while loading everything else in the car. We made it halfway around the rotary before it crashed on the road. Oh well, they never did like me.

My lg Dare i put on top of my car to take my dog inside of my house and forgot about it when i remembered where it was i had al ready gone to get pizza and back when i found my fphone on the side of the road, the case the battery and the back of the phone where on one side while the body of the phone the screen and multiple buttons where on the other i also had an 8gb sd card in the phone and it had 700 picures , 150 videos , over 50 recordings, and about 650 songs
