Oooh, man. Tough question. I love shopping for ANYTHING at a farmer's market! My favorites usually end up being fresh artisan breads and heirloom tomatoes. Anything that can't be found at the super market is a favorite of mine, really. Oh, and here in SE CT, the farmer's markets are from June to October, once a week. Damn short growing season...

I am fortunate to have a farmers market in my town and it's open everyday serving fresh organic fruits, vegetables, homemade jams and homemade pastries. Fruits and vegetables are always my favourite things to buy.

When I go to a farmer's market I usually buy things not always available in the regular store. Maybe a nice squash or some fennel. We have a permanent farmer's market in Lafayette but I haven't been in a while. I think I might go next week. Here is a gift basket of some teas. We'll enjoy them together when I come to visit. lol

We have several farmer's markets. There is nothing like a fresh picked farmer! Kidding, veggies!!!!!!

We have one every weekend, and I like to go see the " bonsai guy" yeah, sure, hes a little senile, hes not sure what plants he has anymore, but, I love him. I buy something every time, he has so many plants, and he even styles them, for beginners. The best thing about his three dollar starter trees is the soil. There are many different sprouting seeds in each plant, so, when you buy one, youre really buying ten!!! I love it! Plus, he really needs someone to talk with sometimes, its just a great experience all around! My favorite thing to buy at the "farmers market" is bonsai trees! Great question!

Every Saturday we have a farmers market my favorite thing to buy is the salad in the summer.
