  • My son had the same thing I think. I dont know the name of it, but it is a hole in the bone which causes a stress fracture. My son was 6 when it happened and the hole has since filled in. He is 14 now with no problems.
  • You should ask his doctor what it is called. There are several things it could be. I'd be interested to know what the disease is called. http://www.nichd.nih.gov/health/topics/mccune_albright_syndrome.cfm http://kidshealth.org/teen/diseases_conditions/bones/osteomyelitis.html http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=A00259 http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=A00051 http://www.mayoclinic.com/print/fibrous-dysplasia/DS00991/DSECTION=all&METHOD=print http://www.merck.com/pubs/mmanual_ha/sidebars/sb22_1.html
