Darkness. Even a little light bothers me at night. Funny thing is I can take a nap in the sunlight with no trouble.
-
I turn all the lights out, but there's street lamps that shine into the apt, so it's never 100% dark. But it's as dark as I can get it.
-
I have windows and electronic appliances in my room so its never TOTALLY dark, but the darker the better
-
light leaks in the blinds from the neighbor's porch light but it's not much. after i get nice heavy curtains i will sleep in near total darkness anytime of day!
-
Darker the better, I hate any semblance of light as I go to my sarcophagus for another night of reposeful slumber.
-
I like the light from the street lamp to creep through the curtains just a little. My man works away a lot and it makes me feel that little more secure when I'm home alone.
-
Total darkness. I cannot sleep at all with light of any kind. In summer I awake as soon as dawn is breaking whatever time that happens to be.
-
I sleep with a night light!
-
I like it very dark and about 65-67 degrees.
-
I'd prefer total darkness, but the backlight on my alarm clock prevents that. The first night I had it I barely slept because the blue backlight was intensely bright. It a big design flaw. I solved that problem by getting some reflective red wrapping paper, that acts like a two way mirror. At night you can see the time and the emitted light is low, and during the day all you see is some reflective red wrapping paper. Win some, lose some.

I need to sleep in darkness, but there is usually a fair amount of light coming off the electronic devices in my room. My keyboards in particular give off a lot of light. I could just go and turn the Scroll Lock off, but I'm just too lazy I guess.
-
As close to darkness as possible. We still get a little light around our blinds but that's no big deal.
-
darkness - i cant sleep unless it is dark
-
Bat cave please..the darker the better....:)
-
I like total darkness. I even wear an eyeshade.
-
The darker the better. I even have to cover my clock and install a seal around my door to keep light out of my bedroom when I sleep.
-
Definitely totally dark. I also wear a sleep mask to keep out the light. I usually put it on when the light wakes me up in the morning and I always take it along when I travel especially.
-
very tiny amount of light from the other room. I like an air raid shade on the window.
-
Fully dark please.
-
Complete and total darkness.
-
N-A-H!!!
-
no, but my brother does ;)
-
No. But I sleep with a candle burning, lights up the room just enough so I'm not to scared of the dark.
-
when i was little i did now i just sleep with the tv on
-
No, there is enough outside glow and the glow from those annoying DVD and TV timers that I can see enough to get around in the dark
-
The read out on my clock radio is so bright it serves as a night light!! I am not kidding!!!!!
-
It has to be pitch black I even cover the digital display clock.
