Yes, part way. In elementry school our princpal was a farmer and he would bring chicks and put them in an incubater in the hall. It was cool.

Yes but i wanted to interfere and crack the shell for it,the poor little thing was struggling for ages and as it was on a farm that opens to the public i thought they might shout if i did.

I've hatched out hundreds of chicks, had to hlep some but that usually doesn't work unless you are very careful and use a moist paintbrush to wet the shell. Rescued chicks don't do well. And I've brooded and hatched out parrot babies, too.

I never did but I have cracked open thousands of delicious eggs however.
