If meth burns reddish, tastes sweet, and smells sweet, my friend, you just got hosed. Somebody probably cut it with something really stupid like sweet n low, or sugar. Good meth should burn clear, taste slightly bitter, and have a slightly chemical smell (obviously). There shouldn't be a big black mark left on your smoking apparatus, possibly a little bit of a brown outline, but that should easily burn or q tip out.
