Well, I don't like Yahoo answers. I do not find the atmosphere very pleasant, I don't find the answers very accurate or useful, and if I am going to waste my time I am most certainly going to do it with people I like. Anyone who doesn't like it here can sod off to yahoo answers, no one is stopping them.

I used to be on yahoo answers, but I found it less than helpful. I love AB and I wouldn't trade it for any other answer site. =)

The people here are very rude and inconsiderate. Questions barely ever get an answer. They say it's not for the points but yet why would someone sit for hours on here if they weren't trying to rack up points and be the "big dogs" on here. More of the silly questions get answered than real ones that people need an answer too. Also, if someone posts a question and you think it's dumb or worded wrong then don't answer it and be a smart alec find another one you do like and answer that one. People get mad when they are down rated but it's not for points!! I think everyone on here is fooling themselves. I bet if ab took off the point system these folks wouldn't be on here all damn day everyday trying to "help" others. Yahoo answers is not for points it's for helping others and we get an answer on our questions!!! Don't worry I will not read your answers I will never log onto ab again... unless bin laden put a gun to my head and made me do it. I have given ab and it's user a chance many times and frankly they make me sick! Have fun wasting time on here!

Don't like Yahoo Answers. Not as helpful, not as fun, not a nice community like here. ANs I think the atmosphere is a bit more grown up here, even though people do have fun and get silly.

I left Yahoo Answers after being there for a very long time. I used to love it. But it has become a mess since they began responding to the whiners and deleting the entire Yahoo accounts of the people that the whiners don't like. They are trying to lay down rules that don't fit all the catagories, impose punishments without reasons being given, refusing to allow opinion and comments and other unworkable ideas. They treat the users like tempermental little children instead of the full blown people who have interesting personalities and experiences to share with each other. Yahoo Answers is easier to use, nice to look at, easier to read, faster and allows some fun personalization. But it amounts to hanging pretty banners on the village gallows! It is still an unhappy place to be and a very sad waste of potential. I go back and check to see if they have made any positive changes, but they continue to try and fix things by adding more ridiculous rules on top of the pile they already have. So you go there and join in the fun. And stop coming back to this site that you don't like. Leave it for those of us who have found it most appealing because it isn't trying to make the users all think and act the same.

I "Waste my Time" here because I have friends and loved ones here, and I care about helping them. Also I've tried yahoo answers once or twice in the past, I didn't find it especially enjoyable, or helpful for that matter. I must say I find your statement that you're not going to read any of these answers very amusing, if you want to engage in a mature debate over the good and bad points of the two sites, that would be one thing, but coming here to mindlessly abuse something that you clearly don't understand and then run back to your familiar territory is quite hypocritical. If you like yahoo answers so much, then you should just go back there, no one is going to stop you, we don't want your kind of closed-minded attitude here anyway.

yahoo answers deleted most of my questions that were harmless. i made a simple stupid joke and they took it the wrong way and deleted my entire account. not just my answers acount, but my yahoo mail account as well. i found answerbag and i really liked it. i thought it was much better than yahoo answers because people cant delete my harmless and *stupid* questions here. although it is smaller, and i hope to find a larger answering site soon. even if i do, i will continue to troll on this site. TROLLS RULE!

So what if we like points? However, to say that we spend all our time on here in order to get points is absurd. Points don't really exist...they're imaginary. I waste time on here because I enjoy being on here. I like to ask and answer questions and read others QandA, but the points do make it more fun for me. I don't know why there would be anything wrong with that though.

I've never been to Yahoo Answer, but I heard it sucks and is full of jackasses.
