depends on you. when I was i my 20's I did swing shifts (6p-1a) and missed every family function for a year. then when I started working graveyard, I was too tired to go to anythinG!! giveme a 9-5 shift anyday

Day shift Monday thru Friday would be perfect for me. I work Monday thru Thursday from 6:30-5:00 and I like that too.

I worked the graveyard shift (aka "turning the lobster trick" as so named by New England lobster fishermen) for 4 years while I was in college. This job was great in the summer since I had all morning, all afternoon, and all evening off and only had to sleep one of them. During the school year, I aced my early classes, but afternoon classes tended to have lower grades due to me getting tired.

I am a night owl so the graveyard shift would be good for me. I have worked it before and enjoyed it. I wish my current job had a graveyard shift.
