Since gasoline is approaching $4.00 a gallon, what is everyone's plan for vacation this summer?

My husband and I would love to tour New England and maybe the Maritimes of Canada still but do it on our motorbike. We have a BMW touring type bike whihc is comfortable for long distance and is great on mileage. But we do have to pay for motel rooms because it's hard to take camping gear for two on one bike. So, do we pay more for rooming or do we pay more for gas and camp our way across??? We're still trying to work it out.

Our vacation is going to be moving 600 miles. In other words, no real vacation. We were going to go to Ireland, but the trip has been postponed because of the move, not because of gas prices.
