Not at the moment, no. I'm certain that would be one of the biggest improvements the programmers could make to Answerbag, though.

No, you could turn off all of your comments, but I doubt that you want to do that. I know how you feel. I've been in comment threads that I don't participate in.

no. but i wish there was.it is really getting pretty bad.one that is really bothering me is the maybe if i play amazed backwards i will get a recipe for a really ripping lentil soup. that thread has got to go.
