Help answer this question below.
so what happened? this was more than three years ago. maybe the bird was not abandoned, maybe mom went for worms and bugs. to feed the baby. then, sometimes the baby gets orphaned, that happens, and sometimes the mom or the others. seem like they throw a baby bird out, either it falls out by accident of the nest or tries to fly to soon, or they turn on it. i have seen birds actually ganging up on a baby bird and doing a community or family type murder of the one bird. what is that all about, i don't know. except they will do it, i have heard if the bird has a human smell on it. that may or may not be true. i would like to know , though if someone can respond to it.
Oh, poor thing!!
Please, please take him to the nearest Animal Services shelter. If they cannot help (most are glorified dog pounds) they will at least know where you might be able to take him. He needs nutrients and an incubator, and trained professionals that are familliar with baby birds.
I hope he turns out all right! Good luck!

You're reading I have a baby robin (I think) that CANNOT fly and has been left abandoned by his mother in a 40gal tank. His wings don't look fully formed. Will he survive out in the wild? Will I be able to teach him to fly? How long will this take and how do I do it
