I filed a court ordered eviction for a tenant for unpaid rent. my tenant is now incarcerated, but his sister has requested to remove his belongings from my home on his behalf. do i have to get written permission from my tenant authorizing her to do this

    I admit, I don't know about the legal aspect of this. But I would do it anyway, just to cover my own rear end.

    Not only would I get written permission...make sure it's notorized.

    you can be held liable for his belongings. You need to get written permission to be released from liability.
