With the new points system, some AB members have left and others have stayed. In your opinion, would it be better if Answerbag would just get rid of the points system?

I don't care one way or another, except I think if they are going to change it it needs to be realistic to all. Or else have no points and just have colored stars or something for those who excel in points for a week or over time by rank or something. It's alot to do about nothing that means nothing, or not much anyhow to many people.

I don't see why anyone would actually LEAVE because of the points. It's not like you get a prize or something.

I'd like to see downratings dropped. Either you rate up or you leave an answer or question alone. Offensive, irrelevent or incorrect questions and answers can simply be flagged. Invaluable ones will be known by their lack of points.

yeah. i just hate when people starting whining "oh why did i get downrated!?" who cares? i suppose getting rid of the option to downrate would be ok too.

I think the DR needs done away with.

The only people I see using the downratings are petty people who don't have any realistic reason to flag a post, but don't like it's content (disagree with it).

I think that if you are DR'ing some one you should have to provide a written explination why they are DRing so that if its disputed the mods can look over it
