Don't know where yours is being done but my husband had one done down his throat and he had zero recovery time. Just a bit of a sore throat. If you mean the abdominal kind, my friend had one done and she was a little sore for in that area and felt tired for a couple of days. She had some discharge but it wasn't bad. She didn't have the kind with sutires, just a bandaid because it was a micro one. It wasn't bad for her but you might want to discuss the exact procedure with your doctor because yours may be very different from either of these examples.
