I love the movie "True Grit" I used to watch it with my dad all the time when I was a kid. IT just brings me great memories. That's my favorite John Wayne movie :) +4

The Green Berets. It was filmed while the Vietnam war was still going on and it's as close to real as you can get without actually being in Nam at the time.

"Red River". Good story and good acting by all. Apparently it was based on "Mutiny on the Bounty".
