  • I think so..i'd miss driving though
  • I don't know how i could, the eyes show the soul, and they see the beauty!
  • I am currently going blind. So I guess my answer is yes, I could. I had good vision a little over two years ago. Since then I have had many eye surgeries, and lost sight in one totally. I have sight in one eye and yeah, it's a pain to drive, but not impossible. If it had happened all at once I may feel differently, but for now I am glad I have had what I do. Thanks for asking....
  • You can always survive if you long to live. If I said no and went blind, do you really believe that I would kill myslef just because I couldn't see? Would I do that to my family? WOuld I give up hearing and touching my loved ones just because I couldn't see their faces and smiles? No, I'd live with whatever happened because I love life. I would be devastated if I lost my sight. It brings great joy but I would adjust and learn a different way of seeing.
  • Of course I could. My life would be very different though and I would have to learn to adapt.
  • after i got done feeling sorry for myself and pulled my head out of my butt. yeah i could
  • Yes. Being blind would just be another challenge..I'd meet it head on...
  • It would be very hard to cope mentally. Not being able to see the beauty of the outside, and everything that exist would be very frustrating. Maybe I wouldn't have as many fears, of course not speaking of my children. That is a very good question.
  • Yes, but learning Braille would suck. I personally think I would be very bored, right now I can go on the computer and watch tv, drive myself to the mall and just "browse", or just plainly go out for a drive, and if I went blind, I wouldn't be able to do that for myself. I'd have to have someone else help me do it, and I am too damn independent for that. I don't know. It'll be interesting to see how I will adapt, I would make it, but it'll be a very interesting transition. And honestly speaking, I think I would sleep 70 % of the time if blindness happend suddenly, but I'd also get over that in about a month or so. This definately makes me think.
  • Yes, I think I could.
  • I supose I could, how ever I love the internet so it would piss me off to be blind suddenly.
  • Possibly with help - I desperately hope to never have to find out.
  • Yes, I could.
  • I could, but I wouldn't want to. It depends on my will to live.
  • I've survived two years in a combat zone, a near-fatal parachuting accident, an incurable form of cancer, innumerable fractures, lacerations, abrasions and contusions, and one very unhappy marrage, so I would like to think I could survive being blind.
