The truth will set you free. I'd rather have the pain then live not knowing.

Uncertainty and doubt can poison a person for a long time. I would rather have one quick, painful stab than die a death of a thousand cuts.

When we are hurt by the truth, we are likely to get over it. I'd choose that route.

If you live your LIFE uncertain, you are suffering throughout it all. The truth may hurt you, but you are likely to eventually get over it, and get on with your life.

I had rather know the truth...that is easier to deal with in the long run than uncertainty.

to know the truth, so that you can understand where your life personally is going. then if someone else is involved you know that your course is being directed in a different direction than that person, and can be on your personally miraculous path that deserves the best. i think were all entitled to that. -generally speaking as well, def. to know the truth... remember this if anything, it shall always set *you* free ;-) and u come first.

in addition to my first answer, iwanted to add that i read once that the universe only supports what is for our highest good. so although its tempting to wait out something like that(the uncertainty), your the one that has the power to try and discover the truth and set yourself free, when that is what the universe is calling you to do anyways and has in store for you, or you can hold on to something that just isn't true..whats not true pretty much meaning the pain.. a.k.a not worth it. ;-)

Although there may be some comfortable fantasies that allow life to be lived in an uncertan state, I believe that the truth is a better overal way to go. ... like Buddha said, "No one person can ever change the truth, but the truth, once learned, can and will change the person."
