You can probably get a good book on it on-line from a university book store that is very easy to follow and that will have projects to do to help you retain what you learned. This is how they teach Word at technical schools. If you don't need a lot of supervision then you may do ok with something like that.
I think it depends on how extensive you want to get. I learned how to partition the hardrive on my PS3 to install Linux by watching a couple of videos on (believe it or not) YOU TUBE.
