  • Fax machines are so 1980's. Can't you get a program to send and receive faxes into your computer?
  • If you don't make or receive many phone calls, you only need one line. There are no extra phone bill charges. You take the phone line from the wall outlet and plug into the "line" socket on the fax machine. Next to it there is one with a telephone, and that's going to be the telephone that you can use when the fax machine is not running. It is very simple, but is getting old. These days people are scanning documents and e-mailing them...but, it is cheaper to buy a fax.
