When and where did good/evil dualistic theology originate?

I doubt that anyone would be able to answer that one, AR. It has certainly been round a long time, but how long would be anyone's guess. We know so little about religious practices of people in times before writing. All we have are scratches on ivory or wood, and cave art, which cannot tell us much about the thought processes and world views of the people who made them.

I believe that Zoroastrianism, dated to about 1400-1000 BC, is the earliest known religion to postulate such a theology. Whether it is based on earlier beleifs or was a fresh discovery of Zoroaster we do not know.
