It depends on the Question and also the questioner. if i know it is a person with a sense of humour and the question can be answered with humour I will. If it is a serious question or I do not know the questioner very well I will err on the side of caution and give a serious answer.

Really depends on the questions. SOmetimes I do both. To funny questions I will give a funny or silly answer if that is what is needed and how I'm feeling. But there are serious questions that I think humor may not be a good idea for the person.

The answer usually depends on the question and it depends on my mood .. which type of questions I want to answer. Sometimes I reach my daily quota for serious issues and need breaks of humor.

I usually like a balanced mix of factual and funny answers. If I am asking a question about a serious health issue, I would prefer a factual response.

I'm hoping I get a mixture of both. If I have a serious question I probably won't ask someone on my computer. I need to hear their voice. Preferably in person.

Factual when i ask a serious question, if it is a all foolishness then funny answers(no pranks, or pretending to have a medical problem-thinking it is funny), and fun Q & A. I feel AB is for people who search for a serious answers to real problems, or questions they are not sure of.

I appreciate humor but if I ask a question that is looking for a real answer, I'd like it there too. Or if it is a very serious question, I don't even approve hurtful sarcasm.

I will accept either one, but despise sarcastic or downright mean asnwers.

Funny answers, if I really wanted to know something about the world in facts, I'd use wikipedia or google.
