What is the meaning and origin of the Russian surname "Ageitchev"?

    It is the name of a Serbian person in Russia. I know because the name contains -itch, which is Serbian, and -ev, which is Russian.

    The name means "son of Age." Age is probably a variation of Aggei, which means "creative, festive."
