  • 1) A very difficult question! Ministry used intensively sampling on their albums until "Filth Pig" ('96): "In spite of their growing success, Ministry was nearly derailed by a series of arrests and drug problems. The band didn't issue their next album, Filth Pig, until 1996. For Filth Pig, Ministry stripped all synthesizers and most samples from their style and made the music almost entirely with ultra-noisy guitars, heavy bass, and real drums. The songs were played mostly at slower tempos than the very fast ones that were used for the compositions on their previous three LPs, giving it an almost doom metal feel." (live) ('90) Psalm 69: The Way...('92) Just Another Fix Black Box ('93) Filth Pig ('96) Dark Side Of The Spoon ('99) Greatest Fits ('01) Sphinctour ('02) Animositisomina ('03) Houses Of The Molé ('04) Early Trax ('04) Side Trax ('04) Rantology ('05) Rio Grandé Blood ('06) Rio Grandé Dub ('07) The Last Sucker ('07)" Source: http://www.prongs.org/ministry/albums On this site you can also find the lyrics. 3) I think you have following possibilities to find this out: - you can still remember some exact *lyrics* (not approximative ones!) and look for them in google or some lyrics site. - you look at the albums, beginning at the top of the list, on Amazon. They have music samples, and I you already knew the CD, you will recognize the songs from the samples. http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_adv_m_pop/?search-alias=popular&unfiltered=1&field-keywords=&field-artist=Ministry&field-title=&field-label=&field-binding=&sort=relevancerank&Adv-Srch-Music-Album-Submit.x=37&Adv-Srch-Music-Album-Submit.y=12 I suppose it would be one of the first eight. I heard some of them, but I was not sure. Better you do it, I think.
