  • I'm sorry to say this, but 100 grand a year is not that much money anymore. My cousin said her husband makes about that a year, but with their morgage, credit card payments, car payments and other bills and expenses she said it doesn't stretch very far. And no- I am definatley not rich lol!

  • With his latest promotion and salary increase, Hubby will now be making just a tad under $100,000 a year. However, we are not rich, unless you call being able to buy a rental house for our son, and then make the payments for six months when he lost his job. It has left us very short, but we are comfortable. We put a full 10% of our income into long term savings for retirement. We carry full replacement insurance on both our houses, life insurance and salary continuation insurance on Hubby. We help our his aging parents on their monthly expenses, and help support our grandchildren.

  • Any person born in this country is rich. To own an American passport is "rich". If you never travel overseas to see the way other people live you will not realize how rich you are. Americans are living in a fantasy world. Owning a brick home with a swimming pool out back? RICH RICH RICH.

  • no most people I know make about 15% of that sum not many employers in the uk would pay anyone that sort of money unless you are the boss of a large company who makes billions of pounds
