Help answer this question below.

My volvo 740 gl station wagon's fan stopped working and the fan is fine, so i believe it is the relay or the relay switch, where are these located so i can check them and see if they are in working order?

    For such a simple system, there are so many things to check. You say the fan stopped working but the fan is fine? How did you arrive at that conclusion?

    Typical points of failure in combined A/C and heater:

    - A/C, Blower fuses
    - A/C low pressure relay
    - Blower motor
    - Blower relay
    - Internal console selector arced-over or grounded out
    - Bad ground for blower under hood
    - Bad thermostat for heater core
    - Bad heater vent servo (if applicable)

    Can you give more info?
