Today is... May 11th, right? If I'm remembering my dates correctly, this time last year I was extremely depressed and contemplating suicide, which I had made a half-assed attempt at by mid June of last year... So I must have been in at least a slightly worse state then than I am now.

I am way, way better today. Last year we were still trying to deal with the aftermath of the hurricanes. Even thought we are still dealing with them it's much better.

Last year at this time I was in a state of denial. This year I am working on living consciously. I am improving my communications skills and just actively working to improve my character and my quality of life. So yes, much, much better! Thanks for a good question!

Geologically I'm not in a state and wasn't last year. Physically, I'm in much better shape.

Mentally I was in a more stable frame of mind. Regularly coming onto the computer to do things other than IM was a completely new thing for me, and i was unaware that others had social lives. Physically, I'm a lot more handsome, as I have finally got rid of most of my acne

I was in a much better state because Jay was alive and we getting some where. Now I'm back to below square one.

Everything was better for me one year ago. So many bad things have occurred since October of 2006, it's incredible.
