    Device Manager lists hardware items, so it should list your Com and Parallel ports, along with any others, such as Bluetooth. It won't show a list of network ports because they aren't hardware.

    I realize that the device manager SHOULD list my ports, but it doesn't. Could they have been deleted somehow? And if so, how do I go about restoring them?
