Why do you think the people of the Hare Krishna movement are so happy?

    I found an interesting interview von ex Beatles George Harrison, who had contact with the Hare Krishna movement:
    "what realizations have you experienced from chanting?
    George: Prabhupada, acarya (spiritual master) of the Hare Krishna movement, told me once that we should just keep chanting all the time, or as much as possible. Once you do that, you realize the benefit. The response that comes from chanting is in the form of bliss, or spiritual happiness, which is a much higher taste than any happiness found here in the material world. That's why I say that the more you do it, the more you don't want to stop, because it feels so nice and peaceful.
    Mukunda: What is it about the mantra that brings about this feeling of peace and happiness?
    George: The word Hare is the word that calls upon the energy that's around the Lord. If you say the mantra enough, you build up an identification with God. God's all happiness, all bliss, and by chanting His names we connect with Him. So it's really a process of actually having a realization of God, which all becomes clear with the expanded state of consciousness that develops when you chant."

    Here another text excerpt about happiness in the Krshna movement:
    "The art of focusing one's attention on the Supreme and giving one's love to Him is called Krishna consciousness. We have inaugurated the Krishna consciousness movement so that everyone can satisfy his propensity for loving others simply by directing his love towards Krishna. The whole world is very much anxious to satisfy the dormant propensity of love for others, but the inventions of various methods like socialism, communism, altruism, humanitarianism, nationalism, and whatever else may be manufactured for the peace and prosperity of the world, are all useless and frustrating because of our gross ignorance of the art of loving Krishna. Generally people think that by advancing the cause of moral principles and religious rites, they will be happy. Others may think that happiness can be achieved by economic development, and yet others think that simply by sense gratification they will be happy. But the real fact is that people can only be happy by loving Krishna."

    The repetition of the names of their god, together with the rhythms of percussion made by the tambourines and bells, puts the devotees into a light euphoric trance. That is why they seem so happy.

    !!Hare Krsna!!
    yeah - we are happy because we have Krsna PREMA(Love for Superme Lord Krsna).
    and
    We are never afraid from anything. Whenever we are in any so called turbulance then we Chant his name and says thanks because "A bigger Problem was about to come But Supereme lord make thsi problem smaller"
    and when we are not in any trouble we say thanks to Supereme Lord.

    We are always happy in his Shelter. People says they has tasted good food , toxic , drugs , fresh air.

    We say that "We have Tastes higher Spritual Trance".
    We always see Krsna in everyone and see when we actyually see Krsna the Superme Lord how luck we are. We always chant, We are not afraid from any problem.
    because If any Problem comes we says thanks to Krsna- It's just Krsna is taking our test for our purification.
    We are free from Fear attachment and anger.
    We dance for Krsna
    we Eat for Krsna
    We work for Krsna.
    We are in Love with Supereme Personaily of GodAhead.
    If he takes care of us why should we worry about anything ?
    That's why we are always happy.
    Chant and be happy.
    In this world every thing has profit and loss but Only Krsna Bhakti (Love for God) has profits and profits.
    Krsna always saves his devotees.
