  • Go to your local Dept. of Motor Vehicles office, take your old license with you. You also have to provide your birth certificate, green card, passport or visa to show your citizenship and status (Due to the Patriot Act). As long as your license hasn't expired, it should only take a few minutes to renew. Also, you usually have to take a quick eye exam. At least this is the process here in Missouri and I'm sure it's not a lot different in other states.
  • You go to the DMV and wait until you are too old to drive and they will take a picture of you that will look just like you've been waiting at the DMV for 104 years and you will have to show it to people for the next 4 years. Good luck!
