Why do women usually take longer to bathe than men?

They shampoo, condition (let it soak!), shave a larger surface area then men (legs), soak in yummy smelling bath oils, exfoliate, etc. There are countless things a woman can do in the shower/bath to pamper herself!

Women usually take longer becuase I think they have more things to do in the bath/shower than men. The majority of my time in the shower is probably spent washing my hair, I have quite alot of it and it takes a little while to make sure it's washed and rinsed properly . Then there's shaving legs, underarms, etc, and applying all the moisterising shower creams that we like to pamper ourselves with. I think men just go in and wash their whole body, and their hair, with one product and jump straight out again.

well i am usualy in the shower for about 45 min and when i can take a bath add another 45 min , because it is so relaxing after a very long stressfull day with the kids.

Who cares, that's probably why most of them smell good. but...I'm guessing here...I do think there are more parts. and..I know fellas who take a while in the shower too. So I guess it depends. safe to say we all enjoy a good shower

I can only speak for myself, but I am sure that for some it is an "away" time. I love a long luxurious soak. It is the one time I can truly relax. I take my portable CD player and light candles, it does wonders for the nerves. As for the functional bath..there is shampooing, conditioning, shaving, etc.
