Hell. I hate close minded people!

Let me ask you a different question. Would you rather be stuck in hell with people who deceived you into thinking that you could do anything you wanted without consequences or in heaven with people who cared enough to tell you the truth. People often use the term open minded to describe people who don't think that there should be consequences for bad behavior. They want you to believe that there really is not good or evil. Any lifestyle you choose is OK. These people are so open minded that they close their minds to the possibility that they could be wrong. As a result of this, they become very judgmental of those with whom they disagree and call them such things as closed minded and hate spewing. Yeah, you are really open minded and accepting of every one aren't you? Personally, I would rather be with a bunch of people who are willing to be honest enough to tell me when I am going wrong rather then with a bunch of people who are so blinded by their desire to do as they wish that they don't see the consequences of their actions.

No other choices? In my view if there is a heaven nobody who is "hate spewing" will get there, it's much more likely that the other group will.

You are guilty of stereotyping, not all fundamentalsists are as you describe, the same is true of intellectuals. But being as you asked the question with that slant the answer is obvious and rather boring really! I along with everybody else will choose the second option!

You have a very original view of Christian doctrines of heaven and hell. + Heaven + Heaven is eternal life with God; communion of life and love with the Trinity and all the blessed. Heaven is the state of supreme and definitive happiness, the goal of the deepest longings of humanity. There is no hate in heaven. + Hell + Hell is the state of complete and final self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed, reserved for those who refuse by their own free choice to believe and be converted from sin, even to the end of their lives No one really knows what hell is like. It has been described by people who have not been there as everything from flames to a frozen lake (Dante). The sinners in hell have chosen not to love as they should. + Heaven vs. Hell + A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell." They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, "I don't understand." "It is simple" said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves." Heaven with Jesus Christ my Saviour and Lord. Besides, in hell I do not believe that you will see anyone, no matter who they are, you will not see them and they will not see you because the Bible often describes it as a place of darkness. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
