Maybe for my partner, but since he does not paint then I have no issue. Although I have posed for a few photos for him.

Yes. There's nothing to be ashamed of. I've painted my own body in the past. Art is all about recording the emotional response to the world around us. Personally, I think most human bodies have a certain beauty to them, whether they be old and saggy or hard and young, or in between, one just has to capture the right angle and the right emotion.

No thank you. Most artists know what the naked body looks like so posing for the sake of the pose or face is good enough for me, they can make up the rest... and be generous. I worked in an employment office at a College and a big guy came in who I recognized from being a homeless guy from the city next door. He was looking to fill the ad for a nude model at the art department and he thought he had to come to the employment area to get that job... I told him to contact the name and number in the ad and they more than likely will pay him cash. I shuddered at the thought of having to be in a class and forced to paint him nude...

YES It is easier if you know only one person there, such as the one who brought you. Also I prefer female artists, I am male. Drawing the human form is an essential part and every one is a little different that is why you need a live nude person and not use of memory. The artist must compare what they created with what God had created.

I have. In fact, a drawing of me was on the flyer advertising the figure-drawing session that i posed for, posted all over the art building. My poor brother had a lecture there. >.>
