  • I know for a fact that there are laws in palce that doesn't allow them to falsely advertise something like that. I'll guarantee that that he probably DEFINATELY was employed by Subway, given an exercise regimen, and paid to eat subway and concentrate on weight loss, but no, I don't think that he had surgery. Also, my favorite sandwhich shop would probably be Jimmy John's because 1.) It's sort of a local favorite because the chain was created where I live 2.) The signs in the shop are really funny 3.) It's just so gosh derned yummy. I love alfalfa sprouts.
  • I think Jared did lose the weight, but I feel it wasn't by eating Subway alone. My favorite sandwich shop is Quiznos. Big, tasty and toasted subs.
  • Yes, I think he did. He would have to have chosen the sandwiches that were "healthy" and left off the high fat/calorie options. I love Schlotzsky's and Quiznos because they offer a lot of choices that I like. Bourbon chicken anyone? ;)
  • I went to business school in Connecticut (where Subway headquarters is located). A classmate, whose brother worked at headquarters, said Jarred had gastric bypass and used the "walking to Subway" regiment to lose the weight after the surgery. Technically, Subway is not lying but they are not telling the whole truth either.
  • well from reading what some others wrote I guess maybe he didn't lose ALL the weight from Subway but I know that he did eat it often for awhile. My favorite...and this is really weird, we have a supermarket in CA called Vons and they make a killer sandwich. I forgot my lunch at home today so i'm going there to get a roastbeef and cheddar sandwich. Can't wait.
  • He must have lost most of it from just being on a diet of low calorie and fat sandwiches everyday as he claims. My favorite sandwich shop is Togos in Cali.
  • I beleive he had weight lost surgery so he could eat the subway sandwiches. I have my choose of 2 subways, 2 quiznos and a togo all in a 4 block area where I live.
