I would be freaked out, and wonder who snuck into my room to put the flower into my hand. I would think I should report this, thinking I'd gained a new insight into the nature of dreams, that we're more conscious of external stimuli and they have a greater impact on our dreams than we currently have evidence to believe they do.

Very good question, I would have to pinch myself to see if I was truly awake and then get someone to verify the flower.
