If my best mate and I are extremely close an know everything about one another just about but then other people watching us think we're a couple or say he likes me, could they be right, could he actualy like me?

It's a possibility. Have you asked him this yet? Might be best to just let things happen as they do, but if you want an answer, he's the only one that can truly say if it's true or not.

Anything is possible. But don't worry about what other people think so that it doesn't ruin your friendship. If you want to know for sure just watch how he acts around you or ask him.

well the excact same thing has happened to me, me and my best mate did everything together and tell each other everything, and people would say your a good couple or would make a good couple....and sadly it turned out that he did like me, and it upset the friendship a bit when i told him it wasnt mutual..but we are mates still, but unfortunatley not as close, bummer..

He could well do , carry on as you are and it will all fall into place in the end if it's meant to be . Just you coming on here tells me you must have some strong feelings starting to emerge !

Tricky situation, if one of you makes a move,that relationship will NEVER be the same again, for better or worse. Think about it, long and hard. If he doesnt like you, he will find someone else in the meantime, and you just saved a friendship. If he does like you, then when you decide to take things further, he will have been waiting for you.
