Suggest you check your human anatomy lessons again. Teeth are not bones. They are, in fact, embedded in the jaw bones, and are removable. I can vouch for this, as mine have been removed.

From the bottom - the root end. The teeth sit in the jaw bone, but aren't connected with bone, but with periodontal ligament.
