  • My son. My husband and I tried for years to have a baby with no luck. I got pregnant once but I miscarried. Then one night at church the visiting speaker told the congregation that we should pray for the desire of our hearts and it would be given to us before the year 2001 was over. I prayed for a child. My husband who was on the other side of the church prayed the same thing. When we met up later I asked what he prayed for and he told me a baby. I told him I did to. So we went home and carried on our day to day lives. This was in January of 2001. Well January passed, the February, then March came and I wasn't pregnant. On March 20 I realized that I didn't get pregnant again and was just heart broken. I cried out to God all that day. My friend called me and I told her what was going on and she told me to take heart and that God would not disappoint me. So I took all my feelings and wrote them down on some paper. I took that paper and set it on fire. It burned away and a breeze came an took the ashes away. I got out my Bible and began reading. This is the passage I read. Psalm 127:3-5 3 Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. I took that to mean that even if I didn't have a child that year I would one day have one. I wrote it down in that Bible. Well, April came and I began to feel sick. I decided that it felt like I was pregnant. I took a test and guess what; I was. I was so thrilled I nearly exploded. Well my son was due December 25, 2001. I had him a week early because of a difficult pregnancy. That child is the light of my life and is the biggest miracle in my life which is full of miracles.

  • My biggest one is life. But since that's pretty obvious, the next I can think of is that when I dropped my special necklace (one given to me by my mom when I accepted christ) that had a sapphire, a pearl, and a diamond, somewhere between my house and the canal, which could have been anywhere within half a mile, with lots of twists, turns, and mazes along the way, and when we were coming back to my house (I was crying, I felt so bad) after looking, I looked down and there it was--right at my feet with the reflection of the sun glaring off of the chain.

  • The biggest miracle of all is forgivness. It is totally against human nature to do so. Us humans cut each other to the core so easily, sometimes intentionaly and/or accidentally. The only path to restoration requires a miracle. It is human nature to want to find a soul mate or perhaps nurture a child. But forgivness-it does not seem to be an instinctive part of our wiring. Its is a miracle, a big one, it requires divine intervention to do so, and you get to be a bigger, better, more whole soul afterwards.

  • Well, I don't want to say this while sounding like a complete idiot but... the band that I call my favorite. It doesn't really sound like a miracle, unless you knew how I felt about them and how depressed I usually am. About a week before I really started listening to them, I created a band in my head, and was almost disappointed it wasn't real. A week later, I just happened to buy their CDs. After learning about them, they were EVERYTHING I had come up with, even to the exact detail. They're everything I've ever wanted and more. And they're one of the only things that actually make me happy these days. And something one of the members said in an interview once when he was talking about when he was a teenager, it sounded exactly how I act. That interview gives me so much hope and courage to carry on and live. I thank God so much for sending them to me.
