well i don't think it has anything to do with the universe bending to do your will. i think its more you making yourself subconsciously bend to your will.

No, I think they just hyped it up too much and made what the subject, (The Law Of Attraction), is about look like "quackery". I think they ruined it by making people think that if they "just think about something long enough, some 'genie' in the universe will grant your wishes". That is NOT what LOA is about. It's much, much deeper than that. But too much to get into here.
