I've been to a Brazilian Grill that had, but did not specialize in BBQ. I really liked it. =)

There was one at a huge mall near me. It didn't last long and closed up. It was big on exotic meat, just looking at all the animals they had in the display window made me lose my appetite. I don't want to see the face of what they are serving.

No but I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to!

Oh yes! Don't miss the trip to the wonderful "salad bars" in these restaurants - it's a traditional part of the excess. The best experience I have had at one was a chance to enjoy the "family dinner" or staff meal with a friend from Uruguay. "This is how they do it down south, boys" was the explanation of the different dishes. Wonderful!

Fogo de Chao is an excellent Brazilian restaurant chain. There is nothing like the Gaucho way of cooking. I have been to the one in Atlanta several times. Be sure to have a Caipirinha at the bar and get a cut of Picanha.

Oh yea. They have awesome salad bars!!

Yes. If you're asking about Roudisio type (I know I spelled that wrong) I recommend it!
-
Yes in miami, it was really good.

Yes. I'm not much of a red meat eater, but their turkey wrapped in bacon was just delish. They had a fabulous salad bar too.

Sort of ... Technically it was Portugese, but the owners and staff are all from Brazil ... it is an award winning Montreal resauraunt that I heard about when they advertised their 20th anniversary specials on a local Montreal talk show on TV. They made an amazing BBQed whole chicken dinner for four with a whole lot of amazing other stuff included.

Anyone know of one in the Los Angeles area?
-
Never heard of one. Is this some kind of theme restaurant where you get a wax job with your meal?
-
Yes I go to them sometimes after work with my friends... we have a lot of restaurants here. =) Also believe it or not I went to one in the Dominican Republic and it was actually pretty good.
-
No, but I hear they are really good. I'd like to try one soon.
