Why is it that many people who become rich and famous seem to completely screw up their lives?

Because they stop listening to the little voice that says 'take it easy, you're in for the long haul'. That, and the vampires masquerading as personal assistants who inevitably start flocking around smelling blood.

it called indulging....they may have been raised poorly and when you add money to their lifes...you have a successful fuck up.

Their upbringing is unusual. They beginning gunning for riches and fame when they're young, so they don't grow up like other children.

Besides the fact that careless use of money and power will do that to you... People who are famous, in the public eye as they are...it's difficult to lead a so called 'normal' life. When we 'average' people go through tough times, it can feel like shit- total shit. We can keep it private, away from the world. But them...they can't. And having three million people following your life, your every move every minute of every day-knowing how much money you have, seeing everything you do... I don't know, because I'm not there...but I'm pretty sure that an drive you insane. And having that much money at the same time can ruin you even more, on more than one levels.
