    Far too many people down-rate anything that offers an opinion different to theirs. I think you should up-rate a question or answer if it's informative, entertaining, thought-provoking or accurate and should only down-rate if it is blatant nonsense or offensive. I often up-rate without leaving a comment, but I think to down-rate without also leaving a comment, particularly in matters of opinion, is a bit cowardly.
