Took my car to Midas, they changed wheel bearings, two days later one of them busted on major highway, towed it back $220. Loner car given, tire blew on highway, no jack, donut had no air, $120, now discover no insurance on loner, should I get mad yet?

I don't know if I should be suprised or worried. I've gotten a few things done at midas with no problems at all. Are they paying for all of the costs you listed above? If not, I would demand that they do so. If they refuse, go to your local BBB and file a complaint, and consider a lawsuit. Sounds like you have a good case. And yes, you have permission to get mad.

No. Just VERY CALMLY walk up to the manager, explain the situation, then kick him in the coinpurse hard enough to fracture his pelvis (wearing steel toes so as not to injure yourself). I don't think any jury in the world would convict you.

No, do not get mad, get even. If Midas does not cover your expenses, then hire an attorney and take Midas to court. Save all your documentation and write a diary of the events surrounding the initial change of wheel bearings up to and including the loner vehicle.

Don't get mad, get even. Keep an accurate record of the events involving your automobile and Midas. Keep receipts and any out of pocket money you had to spend on "their" vehicle, as well as your own. If Midas does not settle with you, locate an attorney. You will win.

You are overdue for getting mad, my friend. I can offer no better advice than what has already been given here - talk calmly to the manager and request that they cover all your expenses. If no satisfaction is forthcoming - take them to Small Claims Court, with all your documents.

Yes, but not because the tire blew, that was not fore seeable, however the fact that there was no jack and the spare had no air is irresponsible on thier part for sure. They should had taken reasonable care and ensured the loaner had the proper equipment in the event that you had a blowout. I would write a lovely letter to corporate.

Midas used a crappy wheel bearing. You should have bought USA made wheel bearings online and replaced them yourself. http://mibearings.com Yes, get really mad.
