If you mean Word is displaying in full-screen mode (no menus or toolbars) just press Escape on the keyboard.

You can click the down arrow next to the Zoom window (where it says 100% or something similar), then choose 75% or 50% until your page is the size you want. If you don't see the zoom function on the toolbar, click View, then select Zoom.
