I sure have. We had a production at school when I was in about the 1st or 2nd grade. This was when they still did productions in school. Our class had the Maypole. It was cool.

...yes...as a small girl, in Montana...we had a maypole...long strands of satin ribbons in many colours...a lovely memory.

Yes yes yes yes yes! At Bryn Mawr College, we celebrate May Day every year, though not always on May 1st. Each class has its own May Pole, there are performances on the green and mummers. It's glorious!

We went all out with costumes and skits. If I remember correctly we also sang "Did you ever see a laddie" too.
