I think this is an odd question, seeing as while learning workplace behaviour, we have been taught that stereotypically, men are much less emotional than women. (http://neptune.spaceports.com/~words/malelogic.html) The association of Reason with men and Nature with women is well-known, and has been widely criticised. Aristotle defined Man as a "rational animal", and by that he really meant men, not human beings. Unlike Plato, he saw women as less able to reason, hence less "human" and more "animal". Reason of course meaning a logical function, devoid of emotion. In relation to your question, I would argue if that if one were to argue against voting rights for a particular sex (a rediculous premise) on the basis of One being more logical and less emotional than the other (a rediculous reason) I would say Biologically, Women have less right to vote than men, seeing as they have periodic fluctuations in horomones and thus emotion. Menopause further highlights the "issue" of emotional instability and "unsuitablility" of women having the vote. You cannot generalise though, there are women more emotionally stable than men, and visa versa. You also suggest men maybe should not vote, but should only go to Political conventions instead: HUH?

I agre with DeadEvan about this question. I have never heard anyone suggest that men are too emotional to do anything. In fact, Almost every girl I've ever met thinks they need more emotions. This question is just as sexist as asking if women are too emotional to vote and if maybe they should just stay in the kitchen and raise children. How rediculous is that? Furthermore, I am a man who has almost no interest in sports. Also, I have no interest in drinking - especially to get drunk. I fail to see your logic both in asking this question or in suggesting that they should go to conventions where they can "yell, rant and get drunk and bond with other men". Do you care to elaborate on how that is logical?

This question is sexist yes sexist I know it seems some men are afraid to call things sexist against them when it happens not me. Your question is no different then say aren't blacks too emotional to vote. Shouldnt they play sports, join the military, and go to political rallies. All you have to due is switch men with blacks and that would be consider racist so this is sexist. To say that men should be barred to vote yet serve in the military with no rights to vote after the protect your liberty and freedoms because they are emotional is the most idoitic thing i've heard.
